In yesterday’s workshop at #atelier9, we also discussed the use of QR Codes on T-Shirts.
I think there are four obvious QR Code choices. It’s up to the endorser to decide what s/he wants to promote. Here I listed all four and added some additional text next to the QR Code. (#leshalles is used as an example here.)
- GENERAL: The Main Page QR Code from #leshalles
This is the same QR Code that you can also find on the site and on the PDF sticker.
- NEWS: News QR Code #leshalles
With the News QR Code you point people directly to your news stream which they can follow. This is an obvious choice, if you publish news often. Here in the example we shortend the link as much as possible to get a small QR Code.
Get the #leshalles news round the clock!
Scan the QR Code and follow us!
- SOCIAL: Kayku QR Code #leshalles
With the Kayku QR Code you point people directly to the kayku stream at your place. This is an obvious choice, if you want people to use your place to gather and discuss. Here in the example we shortend the link as much as possible to get a small QR Code.

- FREE DRINKS: Check-In QR Code #leshalles
Even another possibility would be to offer the direct check-in code. And then announce:
Free Drinks at #leshalles ! Every day from 5 pm !
Check in here and see if you are the lucky one!
It would make sense to add somewhere on the T-Shirt also how to create an ID to use options (2), 3 and 4 fully.
SMS to 202 with NEWID yourpreferredusername (CH: Swisscom, Sunrise, CHF 0.20) would probably best .
